“Witness Center for Citizen Rights and Community Development participated in the closing meeting of the ‘Youth Lead Peace’ project in the Italian city of Sassari, with the participation of eight Mediterranean countries (Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Lebanon, Palestine, Libya, and Tunisia).

Representative of Witness Center, Asmaa Al-Haj Hamad, emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation in the field of youth, security, and peace based on UN Security Council Resolution 2250. This includes supporting human rights issues in general and the rights of the Palestinian people in particular, especially in light of the current circumstances where the Gaza Strip and the West Bank are subjected to genocide under the watchful eyes and ears of the world.”
