The Witness Center for Citizen Rights and Social Development, in cooperation with the Women’s Activity Center in Askar Camp, implemented the first training session of the “Paths of Resilience, Journeys of Recovery” project, with support from the Muhammadiyah Association and funding from Lazismu, targeting refugee women in the camp.

Fifteen women participated in the training, with sessions focused on providing psychosocial support. The training was delivered by trainer Suha Al-Qadi through a series of interactive activities and exercises aimed at providing a safe space for women to express their feelings and relieve the pressures they face. The training included a number of interactive exercises and activities that helped strengthen interaction among participants, providing them with a space for emotional release, support, and connection in a positive atmosphere.

The training sessions will continue over four days, as part of the project’s activities aimed at supporting women and strengthening their ability to cope with pressures and challenges, and providing spaces that help them restore psychological and social balance.
