قال المفكر الأمريكي ” نعوم تشومسكي” أن إسرائيل هي الدولة الوحيدة في العالم التي يتجه فيها الشباب نحو التطرف، وهذا يعزلها عن الساحة الدولية. مشيرا، إلى أن مكانة إسرائيل في العالم في السبعينيات ليست هي ذاتها اليوم بل تتراجع بشكل مضطرد. وأضاف:” ستعمل إسرائيل على فصل التجمعات الفلسطينية ذات الكثافة السكانية المرتفعة لتجنب الإشكالات الديموغرافية”.
وأكد تشومسكي في ندوة فكرية عقدها مركز شاهد لحقوق المواطن والتنمية المجتمعية في مركز بيت الإبداع أن صفقة القرن عبارة عن ” نكتة” ويقصد بها تحقيق ” إسرائيل الكبرى” وليس حل دولة واحدة أو حل دولتين. مبينا أن ما يسمى ” صفقة القرن” كشفت ما كان مخفيا، وجعلت السياسات الأمريكية المغلفة سابقا بكلام جميل أكثر وضوحا.
فرص التغيير قائمة وفي السياق ذاته، يقول تشومسكي أن الواقع الأمريكي غير ميؤوس منه ويمكن تغيير السياسات الأمريكية تجاه الصراع الفلسطيني – الإسرائيلي، بسبب التغير الواضح في توجهات الشباب في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية الذي أصبح أكثر اهتماما بالحقوق الفلسطينية ويرى ضرورة ضمان هذه الحقوق. وشدد تشومسكي على ضرورة الانتقال من مرحلة السرد للحقوق القانونية إلى إيجاد أدوات فاعلة للتغيير.
لماذا الولايات المتحدة؟ وأوضح تشومسكي أن الولايات المتحدة هي القوة الرئيسية في العالم اليوم، وأي خطوة أو قرار تتخذه يوضع على أجندة النقاش العالمية. وأضاف: ” لو كانت دولة أخرى غير الولايات المتحدة هي من أعلن صفقة القرن لما أخذت كل هذا الاهتمام”. ويبين أن هذا ما يجعل العمل في الساحة الأمريكية من خلال قطاع الشباب مهم ويجب عدم اغفال هذه الحقيقة، لأن دول العالم من الممكن أن تكون غير راضية عن ” صفقة القرن” إلا أنها لن تدخل في مواجهة مع الإدارة الأمريكية. مشيرا إلى أن التغير في السياسة الأمريكية ليس مستحيلا وسيفتح أبواب جديدة. الواقعية لا تعني القبول بالأمر الواقع
وفي السياق ذاته، أكد تشومسكي أنه ليس على الفلسطينيين الخضوع للأمر الواقع، بل يجب مواصلة النضال من أجل تحقيق التغيير المطلوب لتحصيل حقوقهم وعدم اليأس إن شاب عملية النضال بطء في ظل الظروف القاتمة التي يعيشها العالم وأضاف:” ستعمل إسرائيل على فصل التجمعات الفلسطينية ذات الكثافة السكانية المرتفعة لتجنب الإشكالات الديموغرافية”.

Why the United States? Chomsky said the United States is the main power in the world today, and any step or decision it takes is placed on the global agenda. He added, “If a country other than the United States was the one who announced the deal of the century, it would not have taken all this attention.” He shows that this is what makes working in the American arena through the youth sector important, and this fact should not be overlooked, because world countries may be dissatisfied with the “deal of the century”, but they will not enter into a confrontation with the American administration. He pointed out that a change in American policy is not impossible and will open new doors. Realism does not mean acceptance of reality In the same context, Chomsky stressed that the Palestinians do not have to submit to the fait accompli. Rather, the struggle must continue in order to achieve the change required for the realization of their rights and not to despair if the struggle process is slowed in light of the bleak conditions the world is experiencing.
