جوجل للأخبار وكاشف ينظمان لقاء إلكترونيا حول التحقق من المحتوى المضلل Google News and Kashef organize an online meeting on verifying misleading content
نظم المرصد الفلسطيني للتحقق والتربية الاعلامية”كاشف”، بالتعاون مع غرفة الأخبار في شركة جوجل لقاءً الكترونيًا حول آليات وتقنيات التحقق، أعدته وقدمته زميلة التدريس في مبادرة جوجل للأخبار في الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا سامية عايش. وجرى اللقاء بمشاركة فريق المرصد، ونخبة من طلبة الإعلام في جامعات النجاح الوطنية، وفلسطين التقنية -خضوري، والقدس المفتوحة.
وتناول اللقاء عرضا تفصيليا لآلية استخدام أدوات جوجل للتحقق من الأخبار المضللة والصور ومقاطع الفيديو، وكيفية الاستفادة من محرك جوجل في عملية التحقق، وما يحتويه من تطبيقات للتحقق من الصور ومقاطع الفيديو وحسابات المستخدمين، والاستراتيجيات العلمية للتحقق. وعبر مدير مركز شاهد لحقوق المواطن والتنمية المجتمعية كايد ميعاري عن شكره للزميلة سامية عايش ومبادرة جوجل للأخبار على سعيها الدؤوب لتطوير قدرات الصحفيين الفلسطينيين في مجال التحقق من المحتوى وكذلك الاستفادة من الأدوات التي تعزز عمق ومهنية المحتوى الإعلامي.
وأكد ميعاري أن المرصد الفلسطيني للتحقق والتربية الإعلامية ” كاشف” سيعمل على نقل الخبرة التي تم اكتسابها لمجموعة جديدة من الزملاء الصحفيين خلال الأسابيع الأيام القادمة. وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن المرصد يعتبر أحد برامج مركز شاهد وتم اعتماده من نقابة الصحفيين الفلسطينيين كمرصد معتمد لديها لرصد المحتوى المضلل ومصدريه. ودعت النقابة كافة الزملاء والزميلات الصحفيين للتعاون مع النقابة في إنجاح عمل هذا المرصد بما يعزز المهنية الإعلامية وكما ندعو كافة المؤسسات الوطنية الرسمية والأهلية والخاصة للتعاون معنا في أي قضية تهمهم وتوقف الشائعات التي تمس نسيج مجتمعنا ووحدته.
The Palestinian Observatory for Verification and Media Education “Kashef” organized, in cooperation with the Google Newsroom, an electronic meeting on verification mechanisms and = techniques, prepared and presented by Samia Ayesh, a teaching colleague at the Google News Initiative in the Middle East and North Africa. The meeting took place with the participation of the observatory team, and a group of media students at An-Najah National Universities, Technical Palestine – Khadouri, and the Open Jerusalem.
The meeting dealt with a detailed presentation of the mechanism of using Google tools to verify misleading news, images and video clips, how to benefit from the Google engine in the verification process, and the applications it contains to verify images, videos, user accounts, and scientific strategies for verification. The director of the Witness Center “Shahid” for Citizen Rights and Community Development, Kayed Ma’ari, expressed his thanks to colleague Samia Ayesh and the Google News Initiative for their tireless endeavor to develop the capabilities of Palestinian journalists in the field of content verification as well as making use of tools that enhance the depth and professionalism of media content.
Ma’ari confirmed that the Palestinian Observatory for Verification and Media Education, “Kashif”, will work on transferring the acquired experience to a new group of fellow journalists in the coming weeks and days. It should be noted that the observatory is considered one of the programs of the Witness Center “Shahid”, and it has been approved by the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate as an approved observatory for it to monitor misleading content and its sources. The Syndicate called on all colleagues and journalists to cooperate with the union in the success of the work of this observatory in a way that enhances media professionalism. We also call on all official, private and private national institutions to cooperate with us on any issue that concerns them and to stop rumors that affect the fabric of our society and its unity.
