Witness Center implementing the first training session as part of the project “From Echo to Influence: Youth-Led Initiatives for Dialogue and Peacebuilding,”
Witness Center for Citizen Rights and Social Development implemented, yesterday, the first training session within a program targeting 30 young men and women from Nablus Governorate, as part of the project “From Echo to Influence: Youth-Led Initiatives for Dialogue and Peacebuilding,”

funded by the European Union and implemented through Expertise France, in partnership with the Local Communities Organization in Jenin.
The project targets youth in the governorates of Nablus and Jenin and aims to enhance their capacities in effective communication, promote a culture of constructive dialogue, and develop their skills in conflict analysis and crafting impactful messages, in addition to empowering them to design and implement community initiatives that contribute to strengthening social cohesion.
The training was delivered by trainer Kayed Maari, where the first day focused on building team spirit and integrating participants through interactive activities, in addition to introducing the concepts of nonviolent communication through brainstorming sessions. The training also addressed tools and tactics of dialogue, methods for managing discussions and debates, and enhancing communication skills in times of conflict through selecting appropriate messages and dealing with sensitive situations in a conscious manner.
The program also included practical applications within group work, using smart devices, with the aim of enhancing interactive learning. The day concluded with a set of applied exercises that focused on developing skills in analyzing and understanding media messages and linking them to the context of conflicts, in a way that enhances participants’ ability to deal with them responsibly and with awareness.
