Study Day on “Fateh Movement: Identity and Project”

Witness Center for Citizen Rights and Social Development held a study day titled “Fateh Movement: Identity and Project” on Thursday, January 18, 2024, with the participation of a group of political leaders, academic researchers, and civil society activists.

The study day, which coincided with the 59th anniversary of the launch of the Fateh movement, discussed the pivotal stages the movement has gone through, the latest being the events of October 7, and the challenges that have prevented it from achieving its political project to this day.

The sessions also addressed the perspective of civil society towards the Fateh movement and how political Islam views Fateh, adding multiple dimensions to the discussion about Fateh’s identity and project in the current Palestinian context.
