Preparatory Committee for the Medical Week in Nablus Holds Its First Meeting
The preparatory committee for the Medical Week in Nablus Governorate held its first meeting today, Monday, in partnership with the Nablus Municipality.
The committee discussed preparations for the Medical Week, which is the largest health event in the governorate. It is organized by the Witness Center in collaboration with the International Medical Cooperation Committee (IMCC) and funded by the Danish Youth Council (DUF).
The event is held in cooperation with the Hamdi Manko Center and the Old City Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) Association in Nablus.
In addition to the Nablus Municipality, the preparatory committee includes the Shahid Center, the Hamdi Manko Center, the Old City NGOs Association, the Ministry of Health, the National Hospital, the Medical Relief Society, Rafidia Hospital, An-Najah Hospital, the Palestinian Red Crescent, the Military Medical Services, the Physicians’ Syndicate, the General Union of Palestinian Women, the Directorate of Education, and the Faculty of Medicine at An-Najah University.
The Medical Week will take place in the last week of the coming August and will feature medical treatment stations, awareness sessions, a photo exhibition, as well as national and cultural events and evenings.
