“Witness Center participates in the closing ceremony of the Regional Fabric Project under the sponsorship of the Minister of Women’s Affairs”

Witness Center for Citizen Rights and Community Development participated in the “Closing Ceremony of the Regional Naseej Project” under the auspices of Minister of Women’s Affairs Dr. Amal Hamad, organized by Oxfam Foundation and its local partners, and funded by the European Union, on Monday, 20/2/2023, in Ramallah.

The Coordinator of the “Women Lead” Initiative, Yara Thouqan, stated that in the Women Lead Initiative, the focus was on sensitizing and supporting women of all age groups in marginalized areas of Nablus and Tubas. Emphasis has also been placed on sensitizing and training young people, especially students of Palestinian universities’ media colleges, in raising awareness of gender-based violence concepts, and training them in the production of gender-sensitive press and media materials, and thus producing their own information manual to guide them in the production of such materials.
