School and Housing Rehabilitation in Nablus Governoraten

Rehabilitation works were implemented across several locations in Nablus, in partnership with Witness Center – SHAHID and with the support of FONSA Foundation (Friends of Nablus and Surrounding Areas) in the UK.
In line with FONSA’s mission to support education and strengthen community resilience, the project focused on improving learning environments in vulnerable communities. The intervention included rehabilitation works at Burhan Kamal Basic School, as well as schools in Madma, Burin, and Yanoun, contributing to safer and more supportive spaces for students.
In addition, the project included the restoration of 10 historic houses in the Old City, helping to preserve the architectural heritage of Nablus while improving living conditions and supporting the stability of local families.
This initiative reflects a shared commitment to protecting education, preserving heritage, and enhancing the resilience of communities across the governorate.
