Kashif Launches its AI-Powered Information Verification Tool

The Palestinian Platform for Fact-Checking and Media Literacy – Kashif, has launched a tool to verify misinformation using artificial intelligence.

The tool, named “Biddak Al-Safi,” allows visitors to Kashif website to inquire about information they are uncertain about.

The tool has been launched experimentally for users to enhance its ability to provide accurate information to Arabic-speaking audiences.

Riham Abu Aita, the co-founder and director of Kashif, stated that the development of the tool aims to leverage artificial intelligence in verification processes to serve the public and enable easy access to reliable information. It also facilitates Kashif’s work in monitoring and debunking misinformation.

It is noteworthy that the tool was developed with the support of Leaders International within the Media and Innovation for Peace project.
