EUROMED GIRL POWER in Tunisia!

A 6-member delegation from Witness Center for Citizen Rights and Social Development-SHAHID is currently participating in the EUROMED GIRL POWER RELOADED training course on the island of Djerba, Tunisia, alongside participants from Palestine, Tunisia, Italy, Spain, and Greece, as part of the EU-funded Erasmus+ youth exchange program.

The 7-day training focuses on enhancing participants’ abilities to challenge gender stereotypes through inclusive media and storytelling, and will lead to local workshops aimed at empowering 75 girls.

🎙️ Delegation head Mohammad Obaisi stated:

“Our participation represents the voice of Palestine in these difficult times. It’s an opportunity to share our reality, exchange our people’s culture with others, and reaffirm the role of responsible media in empowering women and building cross-border solidarity.”

🗣️ Noura Shaheen, Communication Coordinator for the project, added:

“Communication isn’t just support, it’s the essence of real empowerment. We aim for the voices of participants to be heard, and their stories to resonate across platforms.”

📢 Witness Center is leading the communication strategy of the project to ensure wide dissemination and impactful media outreach.
