As part of World Cleanup Day activities

As part of World Cleanup Day activities The Witness Center, in collaboration with the Municipality of Nablus, the Ministry of Local Government, and the “Hayat” program, organized a volunteer workday in the Rafidia neighborhood of Nablus on Saturday, September 21st.

The event targeted local authorities and their partners to incorporate gender issues into programs related to public spaces, taking into consideration safety and inclusiveness.

It is noteworthy that this volunteer day is part of the “Shared Life: Eliminating Violence Against Women in the West Bank and Gaza Strip” program, funded by the Government of Canada.
