Witness Center Concludes the “From Echo to Impact” Project
Witness Center for Citizen Rights and Community Development, in partnership with the Local Communities Foundation, concluded, the activities of the “From Echo to Impact” project, implemented by Expertise France and funded by the European Union. The closing ceremony was held at the Korean Youth Theater of Jenin Municipality Center, with the participation of approximately 80 people, including young people, representatives of partner institutions, and members of the local community.
The ceremony marked the culmination of the project, which aimed to enhance youth participation in community life, empower young people to express their opinions and priorities, and transform their ideas and initiatives into practical steps that contribute to creating positive and sustainable change in their local communities.
The event featured a presentation of a collection of success stories and inspiring experiences shared by participating young people. They reflected on their experiences throughout the project and highlighted the opportunities it provided to express their aspirations, develop their skills, and strengthen their role in community participation and creating impact.
These experiences also provided a platform for exchanging knowledge and ideas and highlighting the importance of fostering a supportive environment that enables young people to actively participate in issues affecting their lives and future.
The event highlighted the importance of investing in young people’s energy and potential and strengthening their involvement in community initiatives, contributing to building a more participatory society that is better equipped to respond to the needs of its members. The participation of partner institutions and local community members also underscored the importance of cooperation and joint efforts in supporting youth initiatives and expanding their impact.
The “From Echo to Impact” project forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the role of young people as active partners in community development by supporting their participation, providing them with opportunities to present their ideas and experiences, and enabling them to contribute to meaningful, tangible change at the local level.
