The training aims to build the capacities and raise the awareness of civil society organizations and media professionals as partners and mediators between local authorities and civil society, emphasizing their essential role in raising public awareness and improving the management of safe and inclusive public spaces.
These trainings are part of a series of specialized workshops targeting local authorities and their partners to integrate gender issues into programs related to public spaces, with attention to safety and inclusivity. The training is part of the “Hayat: Eliminating Violence Against Women in the West Bank and Gaza” program, funded by the Government of Canada.
