اختتم مركز شاهد لحقوق المواطن والتنمية المجتمعية، فعاليات ملتقى كاشف الأول للتحقق والتربية الإعلامية وذلك ضمن مشروع “تعزيز ثقافة اللاعنف” بالتعاون مع مؤسسة بال ثينك للدراسات الاستراتيجية، وبتمويل من مؤسسة FXB France، والذي عقد في فندق جولدن أولد ستي بنابلس، بمشاركة 25 من طلبة الإعلام والعاملين في المجال الإعلامي.
وتناول الملتقى الذي استمر مدة يومين، محور التربية الإعلامية وأخلاقيات الصحافة في العصر الرقمي للإعلام والذي قدمه أستاذ الإعلام في جامعة بيرزيت وعضو مجلس الأخلاقيات في المرصد صالح مشارقة، وأخلاقيات الصورة التي أضاء عليها المصور الصحافي علاء بدارنة، إلى جانب كيفية التحقق من الصور قبل نشرها واستعمالها بطريقة لا تعرض الصحافي للمساءلة القانونية. واستعرضت الأستاذة في جامعة بيرزيت لبنى الأشقر قضية خطاب الكراهية، والفرق بين خطاب الكراهية والتنمر والتهديد، من خلال إعطاء أمثلة حية لقضايا طالها خطاب الكراهية والتنمر عبر منصات التواصل. وقدّم عضو المرصد الفلسطيني للتحقق والتربية الإعلامية بكر عبد الحق، تدريبا عمليا حول أسس التحقق وأدواته وآلياته، في البيئة الرقمية للإعلام، وكيفية الاستفادة من العناصر الجغرافية والزمانية، والأدلة على اختلافها في عملية التحقق.
وفي السياق ذاته استعرض مسؤول القسم العبري في المرصد عصمت منصور المحتوى العبري، وسبل التحقق منه، واستعرض أمثلة على التضليل الإعلامي باستخدام المصادر العبرية، والترجمة المغلوطة، والخروج عن السياق. وأعرب المشاركون في الملتقى عن استفادتهم من موضوعاته، والتي ستنعكس إيجابا على ممارساتهم المهنية، في مقدمتها التحقق، والممارسات الفضلى للصحافة. وفي ختام الملتقى تم تكريم جميع المشاركين، في احتفالية صغيرة، بحضور محافظ نابلس اللواء إبراهيم رمضان، والناطق باسم الحكومة إبراهيم ملحم، ووزير المواصلات عاصم سالم، ورئيس مجلس إدارة بكدار محمد أبو عوض، ورئيس مجلس إدارة مركز شاهد سعد جودة، وعضو مجلس الأخلاقيات في المرصد المصور الصحافي علاء بدارنة.
Witness Center “Shahid” for Citizen Rights and Community Development concluded the activities of the first Kashif forum for verification and media education, as part of the “Promoting a Culture of Nonviolence” in cooperation with the Pal-Think Foundation for Strategic Studies, and funded by FXB France, which was held at the Golden Old City Hotel in Nablus, with the participation of 25 students. Media and media workers.
The two-day forum dealt with the topic of media education and journalism ethics in the digital age of the media, presented by Professor of Media at Birzeit University and a member of the Ethics Council at the Observatory, Saleh Masharqa, and the ethics of the image highlighted by the photojournalist Alaa Badarne, in addition to how to verify the images before publishing and using them. In a way that does not expose the journalist to legal accountability. Birzeit University professor Lubna Al-Ashqar reviewed the issue of hate speech and the difference between hate speech, bullying and threats, by giving vivid examples of issues affected by hate speech and bullying through communication platforms. Member of the Palestinian Observatory for Verification and Media Education, Bakr Abdul Haq, provided practical training on the foundations, tools and mechanisms of verification in the digital environment of the media, and how to take advantage of geographical and temporal elements, and evidence of their differences in the verification process.
In the same context, the official of the Hebrew department at the Observatory, Ismat Mansour, reviewed the Hebrew content, and ways to verify it, and reviewed examples of media misinformation using Hebrew sources, wrong translation, and deviating from context. The participants in the forum expressed their benefit from its topics, which will be reflected positively on their professional practices, foremost among which is verification and best practices of journalism. At the end of the forum, all participants were honored, in a small ceremony, in the presence of the Governor of Nablus, Major General Ibrahim Ramadan, the government spokesman Ibrahim Melhem, the Minister of Transportation Asim Salem, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pekdar Muhammad Abu Awad, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Witness Center “Shahid” Saad Judeh Center, and a member of the Ethics Council in Observatory photojournalist Alaa Badarneh.
